A Scarsdale woman who says 57-year-old Solomon Nasser sweet-talked her out of $24,000 hid her face as she left the Westchester County Courthouse. Nasser allegedly conned his victims by telling them he was in the middle of a nasty divorce and that a judge had frozen his millions of dollars in assets. He told his victims that he once owned a private jet, served as an admiral in the Navy, worked at the Pentagon, served as a close advisor to former President Bush, and even worked for the CIA. Nasser remains in need – now, of good legal help – and a judge ordered him to stay in jail until his next court appearance. The DA says Nasser admitted to investigators that he owed the victims money, but had no job and couldn’t repay them. read more
